Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm Cassie, I'm a twenty-something living in Illinois. I love dogs and cats, games, reading, listening to all different kinds of music and I've had a ton of hobbies so far including writing, drawing and painting.
Obviously I love nail polish. A few years ago I was more about makeup until I found swatches of the China Glaze OMG collection and I was instantly hooked. I started snatching up bottles on eBay and my meager collection of what was once only random drugstore polishes grew. From following Scrangie's nail polish blog new lemmings emerged and now I have over 1,000 nail polishes. Along the way I realized with so many nail polishes (many of them hard to find, I went into major collector mode!) I should do something more than just wear them so I decided to start sharing them by swatching and by preserving them for others in nail polish jewelry.
For about two years I blogged under Sparkles Make Me Happy until unfortunate circumstances caused me to lose all my pictures, posts and work. Shortly beforehand my boyfriend, Neil (web developer and all-around awesome guy if I say so myself), and I decided to start researching and developing a nail polish line.
